Business Development ManagerMaidenhead,Berkshire // £25,000 - £35,000This successful marketing agency are one of the UKs most well respected and leading Brand Activation Agencies in the UK. They have the aim to deliver brand activation campaigns that influence the purchasing behaviour of consumers by seamlessly integrating multiple communication channels and using these to convey the brands core values and messages in a cohesive way.
They are looking for an Account / Business Development Manager to join their team in their head office in Maidenhead.
This position is a great chance for someone to take on a role with a lot of variety as this agency are specialists in all things brand engagement, activation, events & experiential.
You will work with one of the agencies top retail clients. You will be involved in coming up with ideas, and will need to be confident in creating, devising, presenting and implementing new and imaginative ideas. This is a really fun role!
Your duties will be varied and you will be given support and mentoring. They will provide training and coaching to help you progress and achieve your aspirations. This is a diverse role where no day will ever be the same!
You will need to have:
The experience of working on business pitches and winning them!
A positive can do attitude
An entrepreneurial approach to client development
The desire to win today, but also to create and maintain robust client relationships for the longer-term
Sufficient experience and weight to be taken seriously at all levels, including: main board directors, procurement, marketing teams, brand managers
Marketing industry experience
Strong prioritisation skills, with the ability to develop multiple clients and projects at any one time
Knowledge of promotional marketing and the other elements of the marketing mix
Confident computer skills with a hands-on working knowledge of Microsoft Office
The ability to work effectively under pressure, unsupervised, in a busy and distracting environment
FMCG and associated retail channels business development/sales experience
Time spent profitably in the experiential or brand activation markets
A keen interest in whats happening in the world of marketing, technology and retail innovation
And a burning desire to be part of a successful, vibrant, truly creative company
